Department Summary
The College Corps program is a first-of-its-kind initiative that was launched in partnership with California colleges and universities. Over the next four years, these partner campuses will deploy more than 10,000 College Corps Fellows to tackle statewide challenges, and for the first time, we are proud to include AB 540 CA Dream Act Students in a state service program. CollegeCorps at UCLA is supported by Federal AmeriCorps funds and the generosity of the state of California and the California Volunteers Office, and is housed within the Volunteer Center department.
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering the UCLA Californians For All College Corps Program. Responsibilities include selection, placement, and daily management of approximately 150 student program fellows each year. Under the guidance of the Director, the Program Representative builds relationships and works with partner sites in the community that may include non-profit and government agencies, community groups, and local businesses to implement various aspects and activities of the Californians For All College Corps Program. The Program Representative is responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations and submitting required reports and documentation. This position is grant-funded. It is expected that the grant will run through July 2026 with a possibility of extension based on continued availability of funding.
