Position Title:  Campaign Manager

Starting Date: August 26.

Report to: VP of Education & External Affairs

Location: Statewide - Office in Phoenix, AZ

Position Type: Contract base from August to November. Goals driven – approximately 40-60 hours per week. $30,000 ($40/hourly).  

Availability: Weekends and Evenings Required

Transportation: Must have a reliable car

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (Spanish & English)

Overview:

Aliento Votes 2024 aims to educate, excite, and engage young Latine voters in the Phoenix-Mesa Metro and Tucson Area to increase voting participation in the 2024 election cycle while keeping in mind our mission. The campaign is nonpartisan, as we are a 501(c)3 organization, and will focus on get-out-the-vote efforts (GOTV) and raising awareness on Prop 314, a measure that, if passed, will have a significant impact on the mission of advancing the rights of immigrants and their loved ones.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Campaign Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading field plans for at least one electoral cycle (2024 primary, 2022, or 2020) and possess strong organizational and leadership skills. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the campaign plan to engage 50k-100k low-propensity youth and Latine voters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • GOTV Campaign Management: Oversee the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) campaign efforts, ensuring effective strategies and execution to maximize voter turnout.
  • Field Team Management: Lead and manage field teams, including field manager, communications, and operations staff and contractors, to ensure cohesive and efficient campaign operations.
  • Campaign Plan Execution: Leads the strategy and implementation of the campaign plan, targeting and reaching 50k-100k low-propensity youth and Latine voters.
  • Field Plan Leadership: Utilize experience from previous electoral cycles to develop and help lead field plans that drive voter engagement and turnout.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with various team members to ensure alignment and effectiveness in campaign activities.
  • Flexibility: Be available to work on weekends and evenings as required by the campaign schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in leading a field plan for at least one electoral cycle (2024 primary, 2022, or 2020).
  • Bilingual: Preferred proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Transportation: Must have a reliable car for transportation needs related to the campaign.
  • Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
