Perform duties involved in the management of the 21st CCLC Pathways program in Elementary Schools in the Cicero District 99. Responsibilities include program management, communication with school administration and staff, supervise program staff, support direct instruction of tutoring and academic enrichment activities for students, support the implementation and delivery of family services, support the coordination of implementation of strategic partnerships. In addition, engage in the collaboration between TRIO UB, TRIO UBMS and 21" CCLC Pathways D100. Working under administrative supervision of the Director of College Readiness and Success in STEM/STEAM Pathways of the Center for College Access and Success.


  • Supports the management of the 21st CCLC Pathways D99 Elementary and assists in the administration of the program; responsible for implementing operational policies and procedures for managing daily program matters. Primarily responsible for day-to-day operations of the program and support developed partnerships.
  • Support the implementation of budgets, supports the alignment of finances of the programs, and manage resources facilities.
  • Assist the Director of STEAM Pathways as a liaison, when deemed necessary, between program funders and responsible university units to ensure compliance with university, federal, state, and sponsor regulations governing grants and contracts.
  • Manages the staffing by overseeing recruitment, training, and management of work assigned to professional and support staff.
  • Supports the management of the physical planning and logistics of the designated program.
  • Support the research of identified potential grants or related funding sources to develop program sustainability.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in education, business or related area.
  • 3 to 5 years in education, training and/or work experience in educational access and STEM program administration.
  • Demonstrable knowledge, experience, and commitment to the needs of students, parents/families, and teachers in schools serving low-income, first-generation college bound and diverse populations required.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity to a family approach to increase student academic achievement in an urban community required.
  • Experience in working with collaborative processes and structures required.
  • Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish if working with Spanish speaking communities preferred.

Salary for the position will be commensurate with experience.
