Description
The California Student Aid Commission is providing financial assistance to eligible California Dream Act Application (CADAA) students throught the Dream Act Service Incentive Grant (DSIG). The DSIG program awards grants to students who complete community or volunteer service. To qualify for the program, students must demonstrate sufficient financial need, complete a California Dream Act Application and be an active recipient of a Cal Grant A or B award. To apply for the program, submit the CADAA for the academic year, apply for DSIG online, and wait for an acceptance letter. Once accepted, students may begin volunteering and tracking the necessary 300 service hours. When service is completed, students may submit a payment request form. Applications for the 2026-27 school year open July 1 2026.
