The CAYR Spring 2026 Seed Grants are open to California residents with project ideas that benefit their community. Applicants must reside in California, be 17-30 years old, and have at least 6 months of leadership experience. The proposed project must address mental health, environmental/food justice, social enterprise, artist venture, and justice. The proposal must include an itemized budget between $500 - $1,000 to cover project start-up costs. Chosen applicants will be awarded their budget and are expected to complete activities by October 2026. Awarded proposals will be announced by March 2026. Chosen grantees must complete a 6-week training cohort to learn about each other's work.
