Description

The Carolina Migrant Network is accepting applications for the 2026-2027 Monarca Fellowship. This program connects immigrant and first-generation youths to create a community of like-minded people interested in organizing and activism. Fellows will develop the skills to build and run community-centered campaigns focused on non-partisan civic engagement efforts, including voter registration, voter education, and supporting poll protection work. The Monarca Fellowship is accepting 5-8 immigrant and first-generation youths in Charlotte, North Carolina. For 9 months from August 2026 to April 2027, fellows will meet every two weeks on Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a three-day orientation in August. Fellows must not miss more than 3 meetings. Fellows will be compensated a total of $2,000.00 for their participation. The deadline to apply is May 31, 2026.
