The Chicana Latina Foundation awards $1,500 scholarships to undergraduate students and $2,000 scholarships to graduate students as part of the Leadership & Scholarship Program. To be eligible to apply, students must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college in one of the following California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, San Francisco, Sonoma, or Yolo. Students must also have lived at least two years in one of the listed Northern California counties and self-identify as a Chicana and/or Latina. Finally, students must attend all Leadership Institute sessions, which aim to cultivate leadership and professional development among participants. Applicants must submit their transcripts, a letter of recommendation, a resume, answers to 5 personal insight questions, and conduct an in-person interview. Applications close March 31, 2026.
