Description
Clockshop’s Art & Environmental Advocacy Youth Fellowship is a 6-week-long summer program for high school students. Workshops will be hosted by experts where fellows will learn about the ecology of the LA River, the histories of environmental justice in LA, and explore the art & urban design of their neighborhoods. Fellows will have the opportunity to build community with peers as they take field trips to explore LA and through working together on a collaborative final project. The fellowship is tuition-free, and fellows directly receive a $2,500 award to be used towards future educational endeavors. To be eligible to apply, applicants must currently be in 10th or 11th-grade, live or attend school in Northeast LA, be interested in the subject matter of the program, and be able to attend every day of the program, Tuesday through Friday, from June 25 to August 7. Deadline to apply is March 22.
