Description
Convivir Colorado is seeking Summer Program Facilitators to support 6th through 12th-grade immigrant, refugee, and first-gen youths involved in the summer program. Facilitators will support the well-being and mental health of participating youth, help them build meaningful relationships with their peers, and help them process the impact of migration on identity and community. Ideal candidates are immigrants with a story migrating from Asia or Africa, have experience guiding trauma-healing discussions, are fluent in a language spoken by immigrants from Asia or Africa, and have the skills to build meaningful and age-appropriate relationships. This in-person contracting position requires 32 hours per week, pays $25-35 per hour, lasts from May 26th through July 31st, and is located in Denver, Colorado. Facilitators must provide their own transportation and laptop. The deadline to apply is May 6th.
