Fellows will contribute to NHMC's Advocacy work in digital equity by advancing broadband accessibility, defending net neutrality, and countering hate speech and disinformation. Responsibilities include orchestrating campaigns, drafting impactful advocacy pieces, and representing NHMC at meetings with allies. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree or is a recent graduate. This candidate is interested in political science, has a basic understanding of tech issues impacting the Latino community, and is capable of representing NHMC professionally. Candidates must be excellent communicators, strong writers, and proficient in Google Suite. This position is approximately 20 hours per week at $20 an hour, and lasts for 3-6 months.
