Description
The DreamSF Fellowship is a leadership and professional development program for immigrant students and aspiring professionalsin the Bay Area. Fellows are matched with local immigrant-serving community organizations, gaining hands-on experience in direct services, advocacy, and immigration law. Fellows are expected to commit 20 hours a week for 11 months, July to May of next year, to the fellowship and attend enrichment seminars every Friday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm to network and converse with other fellows. To qualify, applicants must be 18 years old or older, living in the Bay Area, and currently enrolled, planning to enroll in, or graduated from an educational program or trade school. Fellows receive a stipend of around $2,000 a month to cover living expenses, but travel costs associated with the program are the responsibility of the fellow. Apply before April 3 by submitting a resume, answers to 4 short essay questions, and conducting an in-person interview.
