Description
The Justice Fellows Policy Program is selecting a cohort of 6 to 8 formerly incarcerated individuals who have overcome significant challenges pursuing higher education and wish to expand access for justice-impacted individuals. The Justice Fellows will use their experience to inform, amplify, and reflect on EdTrust policy recommendations for justice-impacted students. Applicants will write op-eds, provide interviews, present at EdTrust convenings, and attend monthly professional development meetings. The fellowship spans from February to December 2026, and the fellows will receive a $35,000 stipend over that duration. To qualify, applicants must demonstrate a strong desire to expand access to higher education. Individuals with postsecondary degrees, without degrees, and early-career professionals are encouraged to appply.
