Description
The Engineers Without Borders 2026 Summer Internship is open to highly motivated individuals interested in aiding international and domestic community engineering projects. Each intern will take ownership of one out of nine primary tasks over the 5-month internship. Interns responsible for Fundraising/Social Media create digital content that communicates the organization's projects and impact to a wide audience. Interns responsible for Health & Safety prepare resources and training materials to mitigate risks to volunteers on projects. The Volunteer Engagement task develops tools, training, and resources to enhance volunteer preparation. The NGO Partner Capacity Support and Research task involves reaching out to existing partners and collecting key information to further grow the partnership. The Volunteer Village Improvement task requires volunteers to improve the organization's online portal. The Project Sustainability/Monitoring task involves assessing the long-term impact of infrastructure projects. The BMET Training Program task involves managing multimedia training content for digital biomedical equipment. The Cost Estimation task involves accurate budgeting for projects. Finally, the Peru Country Coordinator Support task involves strengthening partner engagement, coordination, and program organization in Peru. The internship is from April to August and is unpaid.
