The Youth Organizer will work throughout the SB and Riverside county, with community partners, who through grassroots organizing, engage youth in current campaigns such as ShutDownAdelanto, SafetyNet4All, Health4all, UndocuReady, and policy advocacy for immigrant workers in the region. This critical role will devote two-thirds of its time to field work that prioritizes community building and organizing with the goal of cultivating a safe space for community members. The focus will be to build trustworthy relationships with youth to encourage, empower, and mentor them. The youth organizer will support youth in bringing any of their ideas, projects and/or dreams to life.
