Description

LULAC is seeking students and emerging professionals for its National Internship/Fellowship Program, offering hands-on experience in areas including public policy, legislative affairs, communications, digital media, education, health equity, community engagement, fundraising, special events, federal relations, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and immigration policy. Interns and fellows will work alongside experienced leaders, support projects impacting Latino communities, and develop professional skills in advocacy, nonprofit leadership, public service, and communications. The program requires 30–35 hours per week for 10–16 weeks and provides opportunities throughout the year, including Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 cohorts. Applicants should have strong writing and communication skills, academic commitment, interest in public service, and familiarity with issues affecting Latino communities. Spanish skills are highly desirable but not required.
