SELECTION CRITERIA
Applications will be evaluated based on academic merit and resilience in overcoming hardships, such as family educational background or immigration history. To be eligible, students must:

• Be a current high school senior.
• Be of Mexican or Latino heritage.
• Provide a letter of acceptance from an accredited college or university.
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
•Submit a 500-word personal essay.
•Complete and submit the online application along with all required documents.
• Reside in one of the following California counties: Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare or Ventura.

The program offers minimum $1,000 USD scholarships to eligible students enrolling in the Fall 2025 cycle. Our goal is to provide local students with the resources and support needed to start their journey toward a college degree.
