The Elevating Voices of Educators of Newcomers (EVEN) Fellowship is a paid fellowship for teachers of newcomers, children of immigrants, and English learners to fight against anti-immigrant discorse. EVEN Fellows will work to improve the public discourse about immigrant students through writing, editing, and publishing experiences highlighting the many ways these children make our schools and communities better. Fellows will engage with journalists and reporters to uplift their narratives to broader audiences locally and nationally. Applications are due Sunday, Jan.4 at 11:59pm PT, and the program runs from Feb. 2 to June 26, 2026. Fellows will attend monthly virtual training, receive 1-on-1 support from NNNstaff, and undergo comprehensive media training. Participants will receive a $1,500 stipend.
