Location: 100% remote - US based Applicants Only

Pay: $20/hour

Commitment: 10 hours per week from May 1 - August 30, 2024. Flexible dates, hours and commitment, to be set by intern and Neta.

We are hiring an intern(s) to join our creative team for Summer 2024 to support our social-impact-driven social media and marketing work. The marketing intern will support our work by developing social media content, supporting in developing social media and marketing strategies, creating video content, creating graphics, and brainstorming ideas. This role will work collaboratively with the Neta team and our partners and report directly to our marketing and/or project lead director.

Open to interns with the following interests and skills:

  • Social media management
  • Digital marketing
  • Creating and editing social media videos
  • Writing for social media
  • Managing social justice campaigns

What you bring to the table:

  • Studying or working in a topic related to marketing, communications, policy, politics, or creative.
  • Strong interest in social media and keeps up to date with changes on social media platforms and trends.
  • Interest and experience on Instagram, TikTok, and Linkedin.
  • Comfortable being in front of the camera, creating video content for social media, and editing social media videos.
  • Experience working in an agency and/or nonprofit or foundation setting is a plus.
  • Committment to make an impact as part of a passionate, transformational company that is creative, results-driven, collaborative and community-focused.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will be determined based on the applicant's experience and interests. They may include the following.

  • Supporting in developing marketing strategies.
  • Managing social media accounts and developing content concepts.
  • Creating video content, including being in-front of the camera and editing video content.
  • Creating social media reports and regularly analyzing data and results.
  • Writing for social media.
  • Collaborating with team members on strategic brainstorms, developing strategies, and presenting concepts to partners.
  • Work with a variety of partners and projects at a time.
  • Report to the director of marketing.
