Location: 100% remote - US-based Applicants Only

Commitment:

  • A minimum of 15 hours per week. Flexible hours and commitment to be established by the contractor and Neta.

Pay : $28-$38 per hour

  • Contractor (1099)
  • Hourly pay is to be determined based on experience and portfolio.

Role:

We are hiring a dedicated Marketing Manager to join our creative team and support our social-impact-driven work in creating and implementing marketing strategies. The marketing manager will support our work by developing strategies for campaigns, ads, and social media, managing social media, creating video content, copywriting, creating and managing ads, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement for our partners and Neta. This role will work collaboratively with the Neta team and our partners and report directly to our marketing director.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will be determined based on the applicant's experience and interests. They may include the following.

  • Project managing projects with clients, including managing team members, reviewing and approving work, and communicating regularly with clients.
  • Creating and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Managing social media accounts and developing unique voices and content concepts.
  • Creating video content, including being in-front of the camera and editing video content.
  • Creating newsletter strategies and managing newsletter platforms like Mailchimp.
  • Creating reports and regularly analyzing data and results.
  • Creating campaign strategies and managing digital ads.
  • Copywriting for social media, newsletters, websites, and ads.  
  • Collaborating with team members on strategic brainstorms, developing strategies, and presenting concepts to partners
  • Work with a variety of partners and projects at a time
  • Report to the marketing director

What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in digital marketing OR Bachelor’s with relevant experience
  • Experience working in an agency and/or nonprofit or foundation setting.
  • Strong writing skills and examples.
  • Demonstrated dynamic experience and interest in social media marketing strategies, keeping up to date with changes on social media platforms and trends, including Instagram, TikTok, and Linkedin
  • Proficient experience in proactively identifying opportunities for accounts to improve their social media usage and content.
  • Comfortable being in front of the camera, creating video content for social media, and editing social media videos.
  • Aptitude in running and managing digital ads, especially political or advocacy ads.
  • Especially on social platforms including FB/IG, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Google, etc.
  • Resume and/or LinkedIn highlighting relevant experience and interests.
