The Media Outreach Coordinator manages communication with external media and facilitates development of internal messaging, media capacity, and production of new media. As the point person for relationships with external media, the Media Outreach Coordinator is expected to coordinate with the Social Media and Fundraising Coordinators and members of the Fundraising, Outreach, Abuse documentation, and Media (FOAM) Working Group to ensure timely response to external and internal media-related requests and needs, including in emergencies, and to delegate responsibilities effectively, making use of FOAM community resources, expertise, and volunteers.
