The Scholarship for Emerging Migrant Indigenous Leaders in Liberal Arts & STEM (SEMILLAS) Fund will be awarded to community college and four-year institution-attending students. An awards ceremony may be hosted at OYE's Annual Indigenous Youth Conference to inspire other youths to continue pursuing higher education.

Open to students of Indigenous background, from Pueblos Originarios.

Students must reside in California.

Open to high school seniors (class of 2025), or current, community college, or university students.

Students must be enrolled or planning to enroll in the Fall 2025 semester in college, university, or trade school (part- or full-time).  

Undocumented, AB540, DACA, and US citizens are eligible.
