The Construye tu Futuro Scholarship awards four $500 scholarships to students who demonstrate a commitment to community service and educational achievement. Scholarships are available for Long Beach high school seniors, current college students, and undocumented students through four award categories: the Empowerment Scholarship (incoming high school seniors who are Long Beach residents), the Liberation Scholarship (AB540, DACA, TPS, or non-DACA undocumented incoming first-year college students who reside in or attend school in Long Beach), the Community Scholarship (students pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree who reside in or attend school in Long Beach), and the Dignity Scholarship (AB540, DACA, TPS, or non-DACA undocumented incoming high school seniors who are Long Beach residents). Scholarship recipients are required to attend the scholarship ceremony during the Construye tu Futuro Education Fair on August 15, 2026, where participants can access college resources, educational workshops, guest speakers, and community support.
