Description
The Emerging Voices Fellowship provides a virtual five-month immersive mentorship program for early-career writers from communities that are traditionally underrepresented in the publishing world. From July to November 2026, chosen fellows receive one-on-one mentorship, develop a professional writing skill-set, and open paths to publishing. An honorarium of $1,500 will be given to fellows to cover. Applicants must be 21 years or older, residing in the US, pay the $25 application fee, and not have an advanced degree in writing. The accepted genres for the fellowship are fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Applicants must submit a writing sample matching the expected genre, along with a reference when submitting their application. Deadline is January 31.
