Description

The Development & Membership Intern will support the organization’s fundraising, relationship management, membership engagement, and organizational workflows. Examples of these responsibilities are maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, tracking progress on major initiatives, preparing proposals for potential new member institutions, and providing in-person assistance with administrative tasks like mailing printed materials.  Interns receive mentorship from staff, experience in grant work, and develop project management skills. Ideal candidates have excellent organizational skills, an interest in immigration related work, and can commute to Washington, D.C. The internship is unpaid, begins January 26 to June 2026, and requires 10-25 hours of work per week.
