Raices con Voz is accepting applications for its $1,000 scholarship open to undergrads and graduate students. To be eligible to apply, applicants must be 17-30 years old, live in LA County or surrounding communities, and be enrolled in a community college, university, or trade school. Documents to be submitted alongside the application include a personal statement, proof of enrollment/acceptance, resume or activity list, and one letter of recommendation. There is no GPA requirement, so applicants can focus on sharing their stories of resilience, caregiving, advocacy, healing, and community service. Submit the application and additional documentation to Support@raicesconvozph.org with the subject line "Raíces con voz Scholarship." The deadline to apply is May 27.
