Description
Self-Help is awarding $1,000 scholarships from each of its Self-Help Federal Credit Union branches. The scholarship is for students committed to positive change in their community. To apply, students must be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, college, university, technical, or vocational school. Students of any age are recommended to apply. Applicants must answer 4 essay questions, each limited to 200-word responses. The deadline to apply is March 31. A selection committee of three or more Self-Help staff members will review each application. Once winners are selected, they will be notified by the committee, and the scholarship is paid directly to the school.
