Somos Familia Valle is seeking a Youth Justice Organizer to support the organization's outreach and community building with opportunity youth (LGBTQ+, low-income, youth of color, and foster care). Council. Responsibilities include developing organizational systems processes, recruiting opportunity youth, building relationships with the community, and other duties as assigned. A primary responsibility of the Organizer is the development and implementation of Somos Familia Valle’s LGBTQ+ Youth to advocate, empower, and grow the voices of LGBTQ+ San Fernando Valley youths. Applicants must possess strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, LGBTQ+ knowledge, and a passion for social justice. This is a full-time 1-year position at $24/hour.
