To be eligible for the sholarship, applicants must be a single mother, custodial parent or guardian with one dependent child,  and are the only adult in the house or living with your relatives. Applicants must have earned a high school deploma or GED, not previously earned a bachelor's degree, and plan to attend a non-profit school or approved training program. Applicants cannot afford your own schooling and have applied for FAFSA. Applicants must plan to enroll in an education program that increases their earning power and earns a degree that leads to employment at family-supporting wages. Finally, applicants must be a legal resident of the US or a resident with DACA status.
