The American Federation of Teachers Local 1521, Student Internship Program is actively recruiting student leaders from all nine campuses within the Los Angeles Community College District. Student Interns receive training in core civic/political organizing and advocacy skills while engaging students on their campus and communities across LA County and the state. Location: On your campus, some travel required.

Duration:  12 week program, 6 hours per week. Requirements: Must be enrolled in any of the nine campuses within the Los Angeles Community College. Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong passion for social justice. Reliable transportation is required All majors encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from dual enrollment, DACA, AB540 students, and non-AB540.
