The United Way Fresno Madera Small Business Grant for 2026 is intended to support small businesses in Madera County. The grant covers startup costs, licenses, and permits. Business proposals will be presented to the Resident Council, which will deliver two $2,500, two $5,000, one $7,000, and one $8,000 award to the top six proposals. Qualifying businesses have an existing business license, are independently owned and operated, have fewer than 10 employees, and are based in Madera County. Businesses in health & wellness, cultural preservation, community building, and third spaces will be prioritized for the grant.
