Description

The Butterfly Project Fellowship provides mentorship, campus service opportunities, academic development, professional development workshops, and finacial aid support to AB540, CA DREAM Act, non-DACA and undocumented students. The fellowship is open to undergrads and graduate students  provided they take part in hands-on internships or academic research during the academic year. Fellows will receive scholarship funds of up to $7,200 for Undergrads and up to $9,000 for Grads. To be eligible for the program students must be enrolled at UCR, maintian good academic standing, be a California DREAM Act applicant, an AB540 student, or a non-DACA undocumented student. To apply, submit a resume, 1 page cover letter answering 200-500 word prompts, and a financial aid screen shot. Applications open in July and the deadline is December 15.
